Obviously, this is par for the course for dad. Fuck this guy.

But why did mom think it was ok for the kids to go with dad to begin with?

If I’m reading the overall situation right, we as a nation really need to get better laws protecting kids and women’s rights when they’ve been a victim of a very bad relationship (you might see what I’m getting at when you follow the link and watch the video).

Anyway, I’m glad the kids are safe.

Those kids are heroes!

The article states that he initially denied that he was drunk, but the kids convinced him to stop at Burger King. I wonder if this was just a ploy to buy some time for the cops to catch up? Or maybe he finally admitted that he was indeed drunk and agreed to get off the road?
